Fees

My preferred way of dealing with matters is to quote a fixed fee so that you know what you’ll be paying. Sometimes it is not possible, especially at the very start of case, to quote you a fixed fee. This is usually where the case may be complex or there are unknowns about which way the case may proceed.

My hourly rate when not doing matters by way of a fixed fee is $250 plus GST per hour.

I am happy to talk to you for free over the phone initially to try and give you some idea as to cost.

Limited licence:

Limited licence after being disqualified by a Court:

$1,127.50 (made up of my fee $900 plus GST plus filing fee of $150.

Demerit points:

$1,227.50 (made up of my fee of $850 plus GST plus $250 Court fees (filing and sealing).

You may well be able to get that cheaper from an online service but generally that does not include representation in Court which is important if the application is opposed by the Police or if the Judge needs some convincing on the extent of the conditions (i.e driving hours or the area etc).
